This position is responsible for being a contributor to the product management work flow by providing support for sales product-related and ongoing Product Management initiatives. This position provides support for company-wide initiatives which rely heavily on annuity product knowledge. Primary responsibilities include interaction with internal and external partners involved with sales, product initiatives and ongoing management of products, features, and services. In addition, this position reviews product related material to support the company's sales force. The person may be responsible for presentation creation and delivery.

The successful candidate will be focused, organized and have a demonstrated ability to manage issues to a quick and appropriate resolution.

  • Responsible for maintaining the ongoing Product Management documentation and procedures
  • Provide support to Project and Product Managers in all aspects of planning, implementation and tracking of projects
  • Create and/or support development and/or delivery of training tools and materials for sales and service teams to support new product initiatives and ongoing product training needs for sales and operations
  • Update Product Management intranet site with pertinent data, documents, and information
  • Set up, maintain, and organize electronic records using the customized department Access database and/ or SharePoint sites
  • Responsible for thoughtful preparation of meeting agendas, chairing of meetings, identification of follow-up items, contributing to timely and thorough documentation and distribution of meeting minutes, as well as after meeting follow-up items
  • Coordinate schedules and activities and tracks progress and results for product-related initiatives
  • Respond to questions and requests submitted to the Product Management team.
  • Responsible for maintaining the ongoing Product Management documentation and procedures
  • Carry out other tasks as required ensuring timely, accurate, and cost effective support and implementation of new initiatives or other projects supporting the sales and/or distribution of the company's products


  • BA/BS in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven experience in presenting ideas to key contributors throughout an organization
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills - ability to understand impacts of simple to moderately complex concepts
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
  • Attention to detail, ability to create and maintain detailed, accurate and concise reports
  • Impeccable organization, planning and follow-up skills
  • Annuity (variable, indexed) experience (preferably in a service, sales, or project management capacity)
  • Industry knowledge (understand service, sales, distribution, and regulatory matters)
  • Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Skills Ability to visualize and/or contribute to the presentation of an idea or project (from concept and design to presentation)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record in completing assigned tasks and projects
  • Strong understanding of various business areas of companies (such as IT, legal, sales, marketing, service) and how each area contributes to the effective management of new initiatives
  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust to change
