Position Responsibilities Include:
o Delivery of comprehensive Safety & Health services to AIG clients.

o Engaging with key casualty clients in the zone to deliver Health & Safety (aka Risk Consulting) outcome based consulting (OBC) with a measurable impact on the client's total cost of risk, including reducing injury frequency/severity, direct and indirect costs, improving operation efficiencies, regulatory compliance and more.

o Defining success metrics and key performance indicators and tracking and communicating progress against goals.
o Supporting Zonal Safety & Health (aka Risk Consulting) manager in the implementation of the OBC strategy and work with Safety & Health staff to train and develop their OBC skills through mentoring; training, stewardship, etc.
o Train and educate internal staff, including underwriters and brokers on our value proposition and on relevant risk (Health & Safety) topics.
o Collaborate with other customer-facing teams including AIG Underwriting, Distribution, and Claims to develop a more effective client engagement & stewardship strategy.
o Developing and maintaining relationships with key brokers in the zone.
o Broaden Safety & Health services, creating a higher level of client dependency with potential opportunities to deliver fee-based services

The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

o 10 or more years of professional Safety & Health experience

o bachelor's degree; post graduate degree - preferably in an engineering or science discipline with experience in insurance or risk management

o Recognized Professional Safety & Health certifications
o Strong critical thinking and project management; adept in identifying and resolving complex business problems.
o Demonstrated experience facilitating change to achieve measurable results.
o Honed communication and influencing skills, particularly through a consultative sales approach.
o Outstanding presentation skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
o Demonstrated ability to drive change through collaboration.
o Analytic proficiency and an ability to understand, challenge, and interact with analytical tools and resources.
