AIG has an opportunity for a Risk Consultant to join its Client Risk Solutions (CRS) Liability Risk Consulting team. AIG's overall goal is to become our clients' most valued insurer, and CRS's mission is to provide a holistic view of a clients' risk landscape, going beyond the traditional risk transfer services, and provide advice on how to make smarter risk management decisions. This position is focused on strategically working with clients and brokers to provide support for the primary and excess Casualty business units.

As a Risk Consultant you will play an important role in differentiating AIG and Liability Risk Consulting in the marketplace.
Position Responsibilities include:
o Engaging with key casualty clients in the zone to deliver outcome based consulting with a measurable impact on the client's total cost of risk. Define success metrics and key performance indicators and track and communicate progress against goals.
o Supporting zone LRC manager in the implementation of the OBC strategy and work with LRC staff to train and develop their OPC skills through mentoring; training, stewardship, etc.
o Train and educate internal stakeholders and brokers by clearly communicating and demonstrating the Liability Risk Consulting value proposition.
o Collaborate with other customer-facing teams including AIG Underwriting, Distribution, and Claims to develop a more effective client engagement & stewardship strategy.
o Developing and maintaining relationships with key brokers in the zone to develop business strategy to support AIG and broker risk consulting engagement
o Coordinate training for zone distribution, underwriting and claims staff on relevant topics identified by internal business stakeholders
o Broaden the distribution of existing LRC services and create new opportunities to generate additional revenue and service fees for CRS
The Ideal Candidate Should Have
o Strong critical thinking abilities and be adept in identifying and resolving complex business problems.
o Demonstrated experience facilitating change to achieve measurable results.
o Honed communication and influencing skills, particularly through a consultative sales approach.
o Outstanding presentation skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
o Demonstrated ability to drive change through collaboration.
o General understanding of Casualty insurance
o Analytic proficiency and an ability to understand, challenge, and interact with analytical tools and resources.
o Comfort with changing priorities and be efficient at multi-tasking.
o 10 or more years of professional experience, post bachelor's degree preferred , preferably in insurance, risk management, management, safety or related services.
o Functional experience in risk management, safety consulting or casualty underwriting
