The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Experience in managing a multi-state defined contribution (DC) investment sales territory

  • Ability to drive a best in class coverage, pipeline and sales process against multiple goals

  • Premium on investment capabilities and experience in DC Plan investment sales process

  • CIMA or CFA preferred

  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses required

The Purpose of Your Role

This sales position works with advisors, consultants, 3(38) investment fiduciaries and record keepers to drive the utilization of our investment capabilities in DC plan investment line ups in the small and mid-market defined contribution markets.

The Skills You Bring

  • Ability to drive utilization of Fidelity investment capabilities into small and midsize defined contribution plans (target date, active, passive) through intermediaries - 85% of coverage is DC plan specialized advisors, investment gatekeepers and 3(38) investment fiduciaries and 15% of coverage is DC record-keeper sales/RM teams and TPA's

  • Investment expertise is a critical requirement, with emphasis on technical proficiency of Fidelity investment capabilities, key competitors and capital markets (CIMA or CFA preferred) 

  • Retirement industry sophistication is highly valuable - trends, sales process and technical retirement product and pricing knowledge

  • Strong presentation of investment content and thought leadership to small and large client settings

  • Ability to partner, collaborate, build relationships with a positive winning attitude

  • Experience in driving a disciplined pipeline / sales process

  • Strong ethical base, with a drive for success

Fidelity Institutional Asset Management is ​a gateway to Fidelity's broad and deep institutional investment management products and capabilities in equity, fixed-income, high-income and global asset allocation.

Specifically, the DCIO sales team is focused on multiple important Fidelity asset management initiatives, including:  our enhanced target date capabilities, expanded Z share inventory across multiple Fidelity Advisor Fund mandates and delivery of our passive capabilities to the DC marketplace. 

This sales position is an opportunity to have a material impact on FIAM results, with a territory productivity over $1B in new flow annually and OH and KY both being amongst the 10 largest states for retirement plan AUM.
