Immediate Opening Firm seeks a self-starter, professional to work directly with the firm’s Chief Business Development Officer to assist the firm with recruiting quality producers from independent, regional and wirehouse firms. 

Base Salary Plus Monthly Bonus Paid on Results

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Outbound sales calls, cold calls to prospective advisors and assigned existing prospects
  • Ability to qualify or determine if a prospects business is a fit for firm
  • Arrange follow up meetings with Chief Business Development Officer
  • Ability to initiate business development strategies and ideas that generates leads

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General knowledge or experience with investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry
  • Marketing Experience and Organizational Skills
  • Experienced and/or have knowledge of investment concepts, practices and procedures
  • Experienced and/or have knowledge of the Financial Markets and Products
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publishing and working with a web based CRM system
  • Effective Communication and Listening Skills

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge of the Advisory (RIA) business, Insurance business as well as fixed income and general securities
  • Ability to pass industry background check
  • Ability to build and maintain a pipeline multiple candidates at a time
  • Self Starter – looking to get to the “next level”
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail
  • Strong flexibility and follow up
