Job Description

  • Manage the full life cycle of the IFS’s recruitment process, including proactive outreach, scheduling and conducting interviews, and follow up
  • Recruit candidates actively and passively for all business units
  • Enjoy qualified leads generated from IFS’s in-house business development marketing efforts
  • Source candidates through creative means including passive recruiting, attending industry events and leveraging the internal network of existing advisors, among others
  • Work directly with the firm’s Chief Business Development Officer and other “C” level executives to achieve goals and grow in the industry
  • Organize and develop marketing initiatives in order to build awareness of the IFS brand,  mission and offering
  • Prepare and track important hiring metrics and pipeline

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of financial services recruiting experience, preferably in-house, with broad knowledge of the independent space as well as regional and wirehouse platforms
  • Broad knowledge of the Advisory (RIA) business, Insurance business as well as fixed income and general securities
  • Series 6 or 7 experience is helpful, ability to pass industry background check
  • Experience hiring for a broad range of roles within professional services and/or investment banking industries
  • Ability to build and maintain a pipeline multiple candidates at a time
  • Self Starter – looking to get to the “next level”
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail
  • Strong flexibility and follow up
