Today's application process is evolving. However, the changes can be a "hurdle" and sometimes awkward questioning and format lead many to not apply at all. Therefore, risking the opportunity for great candidates to slip away.

With the Financial Advisor candidate pool shrinking each year, how does one capture the BIG Fish? Review your process for hiring Financial Advisors. Here are three areas to consider:

1.) Company Website: Does your website explain career opportunities and how to reach you?

2.) Job Posting: Does your job posting provide an immediate contact (live person) or do you redirect a candidate to tedious application pages?

3.) Application Process: Do applicants have the ability to reach out with interest before being redirected to long forms?

Streamlining how Financial Advisor candidates contact you, initial hiring questions and the length of the application process can increase the number of qualified candidates reaching out to you. This also provides the candidates a welcoming environment to ensure they hang in there through the hiring and client transition process. So, what are you waiting for? Make these changes today to help catch the BIG Fish-quicker!
