The "Modern Job Posting" needs to reach out to the younger generation and communicate to what they value from an employer. Candidates no longer respond to long, lengthy Human Resource list of responsibilities and qualifications in ads. They feel like they know what they do, they just want to know why they are doing it. One way to accomplish this is to address, "What's in it for me?"
We've all heard our friends speak about the "perks" their company offers- free snacks and beverages, use of the company boat, and work from anywhere options. But let's face it, these perks are not your everyday occurrence in the financial services world. But we are sure there are things that make your office unique and desirable- location, specific support staff, bonus', low or free overhead, training, and more! So, when writing your job posting, "flaunt what you've got!" because it's the little things, day in and day out, that make today's candidates see "What's in it for me?"
