Wealth Planning Paraplanner
The Wealth Planning Paraplanner (WPP) partners closely with Advanced Planning Specialists (APS) to provide comprehensive wealth planning advice to high net worth clients ( $10 million).
The Wealth Planning Paraplanner (WPP) is responsible for organizing, interpreting and modeling a client's net worth, income (inflows) and expenses (outflows), asset allocation and estate plan within eMoney financial planning software. The WPP will be a member of a centralized telephone-based team creating financial planning analyses with a team of highly credentialed (e.g., CFPs, CPAs, JDs, LLMs, AEP, CLUs, ChFCs) Wealth Planning Specialists that are experts in the field of financial and estate planning.
Financial Planners are typically responsible for developing long-term financial planning analyses for high net worth individuals and their families. Financial planning analyses are typically customized to reflect individual client investment objectives, tax constraints, and trust and estate considerations. Key areas of focus include: a.) asset and liability modeling; b.) investments and asset allocation; c.) risk management and insurance; d.) cash flow and tax planning; e.) estate and trust; f.) executive compensation and small business planning. The WPP should possess a fundamental understanding of those financial planning concepts and be an expert user of eMoney financial planning software. The WPP should be a quick study, as understanding and applying a financial planning process to help high net worth families achieve their financial goals is essential.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., financial planning, accounting, finance)
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a financial services, accounting or financial planning role
Experience with financial planning software and fundamental financial planning concepts
CFP, CPA, CFA designation a plus
