Overview
- Who We Are
BrokerHunter.com is the #1 ranked Securities Industry Career Site in the Nation. The site was launched May 1, 2000, to serve a need within the Securities Industry creating a database of over 40,000 job candidates with depth of information designed to make candidate sourcing more productive.
Candidates are required to complete a Profile that is database-driven. The BrokerHunter Profile will contain fields of information that can be sorted, filtered and drives an automated pre-screening process, second to none.
Firms purchase and place job postings called "SmartAds" which, in addition to the job description, contain the criteria for the position for important qualifications such as:
- NASD Registrations, Insurance Licenses and Professional Designations.
- Gross Production and Assets
- Industry Experience Level
- Education
Candidates meeting or exceeding the criteria in the SmartAd are notified of the position via email and by a posting to their BrokerHunter account. Candidates may then apply with minimal effort, if they choose.
Candidates not meeting the criteria are blocked from applying. Candidates may also be blocked based upon their current geographical location, at the employer’s option.
The resulting applications are sent directly via email to the employer and posted to their BrokerHunter account.

SmartSearch is our database search product and is included with the purchase of SmartAds. SmartSearch allows the user to customize searches on many important database elements. Standard or Custom email letters may be sent to the Candidates in a search argument with one click. All Profile information for Candidates that have chosen to have their Profile be Non-Confidential will be displayed from SmartSearch, allowing for direct contact.
- Other Products and Services
- Firm of the Month sponsorships in our Monthly Newsletter are available for open months at the cost of $1,500 per issue. Circulation is 70,000+ addresses.
- Banners - Banner advertising is available on certain selected pages, such as the candidate search jobs page and the candidate account menu page. These insertions are charged at a flat rate of $1,200 per month per page.
