GFS Forex & Futures is a member of the NFA (National Futures Association) and a registered FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) with the CFTC. GFS specializes in online spot forex, gold and silver trading.

Since our launch in 1999 until just about a year ago, GFS primarily focused on the institutional side of the spot forex market. Our global network of clients was comprised almost exclusively of institutional investors, broker dealers, CTAs, hedge funds and second and third tier banks. We are known in the industry as more of a boutique FX Dealer and Futures Commission Merchant, providing personalized service and business solutions to all of our clients. Due to the rapid growth in the retail forex market over the past few years, GFS now offers our services to the individual consumer, including carefully selected Introducing Brokers, and these efforts are focused out of our Wall Street office which was launched in mid 2007.

OperaFX, our proprietary trading platform, was designed for professional traders. Our clients' primary concern has always been execution, which is paramount. Our system is very efficient; it does not require a significant amount of bandwidth. Our developers have always focused on speed and execution. We offer advanced charting, real-time news, and many other useful tools.
